Swiss Crafted. Mechanically water resistant. Unmistakably Mauron Musy.
Independent Swiss watch manufacture Mauron Musy accepts no compromises. Every component in its timepieces is made within a 60 kilometer radius. Its patented nO-Ring® technology keeps the watches mechanically water resistant to 300 meters, entirely without conventional gaskets.
A Swiss watch. Down to the last component.
Mauron Musy has created its own definition of Swiss watchmaking: Swiss Crafted, not Swiss Made.
Based in Saint Aubin, the independent manufacture develops, produces, and assembles its timepieces entirely in Switzerland. Every component is made within a 60 kilometer radius of the manufacture.
This proximity offers far more than short distances. It enables direct collaboration with specialized workshops, close control over every stage of production, and the joint development of technically demanding solutions.

Swiss Crafted is therefore more than an indication of origin. It is a commitment to regional expertise, complete transparency, and uncompromising quality.
The question that changed everything.
The story of Mauron Musy began with a component few people had ever questioned: the gasket.
Conventional timepieces rely on rings made from plastic or rubber to keep water out. These materials age, lose their effectiveness, and must be replaced regularly. For Christophe Musy, this dependency was incompatible with a mechanical object designed to last for generations.
He asked a fundamental question: Could a mechanical watch be made water resistant without gaskets?
Christophe Musy set out to find a purely mechanical solution. The objective was not to improve an existing construction. The entire principle of water resistance had to be reconsidered.

Mauron Musy emerged from this conviction. A manufacture guided not by what is customary, but by what should be technically possible.
Water resistance becomes a complication.
The answer is the patented nO-Ring® technology.
It makes Mauron Musy timepieces water resistant to 300 meters, entirely without conventional gaskets. Perishable materials are replaced by mechanical pressure, precise geometries, and components engineered to work together with exceptional accuracy.
A function that usually remains hidden becomes a technical achievement of the case. Water resistance is no longer an auxiliary feature. It becomes a mechanical complication in its own right.
This construction also shapes the brand’s design language. Visible screws, powerful proportions, and the distinctive multipart case follow the logic of the technology itself.

Mauron Musy does not conceal the mechanics. The construction remains visible, giving each watch its presence, independence, and unmistakable character.
Engineering shapes the design language.
The aesthetic of Mauron Musy begins with the construction.
The case has an architectural presence. Visible connecting elements and distinctive screws create depth. Precise contours reveal the watch’s technical purpose. Every line has a reason. Every detail performs a function.
The movement is not hidden. It becomes the protagonist. Constructed in three dimensions, it reveals bridges, wheels, and meticulously finished surfaces. The mechanics gain spatial depth and make the craftsmanship behind each timepiece visible.

Christophe Musy once dreamed of becoming an architect. Watchmaking became his path. His fascination with structure, proportion, and space continues to shape the watches today. The result is a series of miniature architectural masterpieces whose open construction reveals technical precision and exceptional craftsmanship.
